Ready

June 18, 2017

The world expected this from me?

I showed my true colors.

The paint ran wet with anger!

I had it waiting, I had it sitting, and it was ready.

The truth unbeknownst to me.

I heard the truth and screamed.

I hurt the man that hurt me.

I had it waiting, I had it sitting, and it was ready.

I turned 30 and felt unaccomplished.

I felt strained and destitute.

A waste, I found a friend in a drink.

I had it waiting, I had it sitting, and it was ready.

Then I met a woman that understood.

I felt similar within symmetry.

I can’t feel anything but to be better for her.

I had it waiting, I had it sitting, and it was ready.
